Appearance: Thysix has a large form, both broad shouldered and muscular, with an intimidating stature. His black hair is simply cut short, keeping it out of his brown eyes. He wears a standard shinigami uniform without any accessories other than his haori signifying his Captain status. He keeps a serious, stoic look on his face which matches his no nonsense personality. When training, he will often where just a pair of pants that offer maneuverability.
Personality: Thysix is quiet and reserved, not necessarily shy, but he keeps to himself. He isn’t really a people person and would rather spend a night training and studying than partying and socializing. His stoic and strict personality sometimes leads people to assume he never has time for fun, but that is not true. Thysix is very musically inclined, and is able to play the piano and violin. He prefers classical music over any other because of the complexity of it, complementing his simple lifestyle of taking only what he needs. Thysix also works on clay miniatures, spending his time on the fine details. This gives him time to meditate on what the day has had to offer him. He has a small model town in his room which he has been adding to over time. He has a lot of respect, both for those who prove themselves to him and himself.
BackgroundBackground: Thysix first found out about his powerful reiatsu when he was out buying food in Rukongai. He retained the appearance of a seven year old at the time and was playing with his brother, Kaleb. As they played, Kaleb made a harmless dare, for Thysix to climb to the top of a building and grab the flag that was on top of it. Thysix spotted baskets of apples that were stacked up like stairs next to the building. Seeing this shortcut, the boy ran up the baskets quickly, but slipped on the top and started to fall. Thysix grabbed at the baskets to regain his balance, but this caused them to topple, dropping both Thysix and the baskets onto the shop owner.
The boy hit the ground, stunning him for some time. Meanwhile, Kaleb came up to him, urging the other boy to get up so they could run away. Suddenly, the owner burst out of the pile of baskets, bellowing in rage. He grabbed a knife from off the counter and approached Thysix, grabbing the boy by his left arm and hoisting him up. The apple seller was about to cut off the troublemakers arm when Thysix punched out with his other arm, silver reiatsu flowing behind the fist. The man flew back from the powerful blow, freeing Thysix, but when the boy turned back for Kaleb, his brother was gone.
He ran up the street, hearing whispers that someone had kidnapped the boy. Convinced it was his own disregard for his brother’s well being that caused the kidnapping, Thysix devoted himself to training how to guard lives with his newfound strength.
He began to take up judo and wrestling, learning how to disable his opponents rather than kill them. His master, Tasi Lio, showed him how to use his reiatsu to shield his body. Thysix trained with Master Lio for over a decade, body growing to match his new skills. He finally reached the point where his master could teach him no more, and went into Rukongai as a vigilante, protecting the innocent and the weak.
Thysix couldn’t remember when, but someone suggested him to join the Spiritual Arts Academy and train to become a shinigami. When Thysix joined the academy, he was trained in a different way. He found these new techniques frustrating and different, many of Master Lio’s teachings differed from the ones that the shinigami taught. Six months in, Thysix was about to quit when he met another student, a man name Azel. Thysix started to train with Azel, because of his friendship stuck through the new teachings.
Thysix began to excel in Hakuda and was able to stay on par with Kido, but lacked skill in both Hoho and Zanjutsu. His time with Master Lio had taught him to stand firm against attacks, therefore lacked much training in dodging and other agility techniques. Thysix also could not adapt to the size of a katana, and believed it limited his fighting capability with his other body limbs. He trained against Azel with different weapons, from wakizashis to fullblades. He finally found comfort in a stout dagger with a large blade. Thysix dubbed it the butcher knife, but found it the easiest blade to use because of the short length, allowing him to attack with is hands and feet but still block blades.
He advanced his skills with the dagger and became just as skilled with the blade as other shinigami are with a katana. He graduated the Spiritual Arts Academy and was sent to third squad. He was tossed to sixth squad soon after, then to tenth. Because of his unique close quarters fighting style, he was not able to work well with his other squad members. Thysix was finally put into third squad to learn squad tactics and maneuvers.
Azel was also in third squad, giving Thysix a chance to meet up with his friend again. They spent hours with other squad members training different fighting techniques. Thysix began to shine as a leader, showing good combat stratagems and tactics, but couldn’t form a bond with the other squad members outside of battle. He didn’t mind this much, though, as Thysix usually preferred to practice and train then to socialize.
Thysix was able to wield his Zanpakto shortly after his rise as a leader, and thus became a seated officer. After several decades of training and patrol in third squad, the bond between Zanpakto and shinigami grew stronger. Thysix was able to learn his most powerful technique, his bankai. After this achievement he quickly earned captain status, taking lead of fifth squad. His recent promotion was received with honor and celebration, but also turned into a bitter sweet moment as he was leaving his best friend behind in tenth squad. This new start is where the test of Thysix’s real skill and power begins.

ZanpakutÅ InformationName: Ironside
Release Phrase: Stand strong
Element/Family: Metal
Manifestation: A young girl with pink pigtails and metal eyes.
Sealed Zanpakuto: Ironside takes the form of the stout knife that Thysix learned to wield, but is completely made of metal, including the guard and hilt.
Shikai: A giant shield that can easily fit three people behind it. It is completely metal and uniformly silver in color, with nothing hindering or breaking the curved, dome like front. Because of it’s large size, Thysix cannot wield the shield well, and so will move little and occasionally rush forward to knock his foe over with Ironside’s large size. The shield is about seven feet in diameter.
Shikai Ability: Complete defense. Ironside provide total cover to one side of Thysix, blocking him from all attacks from the direction it is facing. Only a massive force of reiatsu more powerful than Thysix’s own can smash through it.
Bankai Name: Fulliron
Bankai: Thysix's reiatsu flashes and he suddenly appears with his training uniform on, loose, cloth pants without a shirt or shoes. Covering all his skin is metal, protecting him from all attacks. Unlike his Zanpakto, his eyes stay the same instead of turning to metal.
Bankai Ability: Fulliron essentially increases the power of Ironside, losing the shield for complete protection of Thysix's body. This form also allows him to use his regular fighting style of takedowns more effectivly because he is more stable. Only a massive force of reiatsu more powerful than Thysix’s own can smash through it.

Description: Thysix has learned to switch quickly between Ironside’s sealed state and it’s released one. This technique allows Thysix to go seal and release his Zanpakto faster than normal
