Physical Appearance: Mibae is a tall, strong person. Her muscles are compact, her figure lean; much like a jungle cat's. She has long, bright purple hair, that she puts into a ponytail on the top of her head. She ties this ponytail with a golden ribbon that never seems to fall out. Her blade is kept on her back, the handle poking out by the right side of her hip. The sword seems to be held there by one of two purple belts which hang loosely around her waist. Mibae wears comfortable, light clothes, to allow her to fight with maximum maneuverability. Her skin is pale, her eyes bright purple and her lips a soft pink color. She has a chiseled nose, and thin eyebrows the same color as her hair. Mibae has a large bust, which is shown off even further because of her tight-fitting clothing((see Clothing)).

Clothing: Kuroda generally wears a tight-fitting black outfit which has no back or sleeves. It seems to cut off around the sides as well, covering only her front. She wears baggy, white, pants and comfortable black slippers. Kuroda also wears black gloves on her hands, and her captain haori over her skimpy outfit.

Personality: Mibae is a strong and independent person. She can pick herself up and stand on her own two feet without anyone else helping her. However, as a leader, she values the concept of power in numbers. She doesn't try to do anything on her own unless she knows she can. She is a charismatic person, and an eloquent speaker. She prefers to take in what the person says and think about her response before speaking. When she does respond it is smooth and flowing, with no pauses, 'um's, or 'y'know's. She is a good leader, she listens to what others say and tries to find the best possible answer; even if the answer isn't the one she thought of. She is open to ideas and suggestions, but does not tolerate idiocy.

Background/RP Sample

Background:
Mibae was born on a sunny July afternoon in the town of Karakura. At the point in time she was born in the town was really a village, very primitive and low-tech compared to the Karakura of the present. She was born to a family of eight, her mother and father having birthed three children before her and four after. She was the only girl of the family besides her mother, who wasn't around often anyway. Her father was handicapped, so though it was unusual for a woman to do so, the mother brought in their income. As a result of being left alone with men all day, Mibae become very fit and was able to take care of herself. However, as the other four grew up she began to lose her ability to handle herself, being outnumbered seven to one. She began to become very shy, and very sensitive. When she came to her parents with cuts and bruises because of her brothers her father would tell her to toughen up and her mother would send her off due to the fact that she was far too busy for such petty things.

At the age of twelve she dropped out of school to help around the house, and to get a part time job to raise the family. The eldest two of the sons had gone off to war, the eldest that was left was just a bit too young to join the army. He, however, was far too busy with school to help around the house. So it was left to Mibae and her mother to take care of eight men, a house, and a job each. They somehow managed, though Mibae began to hate men at a young age because of what she had to go through. She spent her entire teenage life in the house or at the local flower shop where she worked, never having time for friends or anything of the sort. Her boss was an angry old man who would constantly insult her and yell at her for doing things wrong, yet another thing that would mold her into the fragile soul she would become.

When Mibae hit the age of adulthood she would be married off to a man she had never met. Her mother wanted her to live with a man who would be able to support a family, not that the family included Mibae in her mind. She would spend the next four years of her life living in fear. The man had the money and rank in the military to comfortably raise a family of three sons, but their mother was a different story. She was hardly ever given food, even though she cooked it, and was constantly beaten by her father. The sons did nothing to stop it, though they swore blind to her that they wanted him to stop. The day before her twenty third birthday would be the last day of her life. Her husband came home drunk, and began to beat her senseless. When she awoke he was standing over her, ready to have his way with her. She kicked him square between the legs and crawled away. When she was able to stand she ran to the woods near her home. There she removed the tanto blade she had stolen from him. She would slit her throat as she listened to him screaming for her and threatening her.


She woke up as a baby in the Rukongai. She was in the 15th district, which wasn't bad for children. She had a caring psuedo-family. However, Mibae would never approach her father, nor would she every approach her brother. She clung to her mother, and hid behind her apron whenever the other two were in the area. No one knew why this was but Mibae; no one asked out of respect. One day, at the visible age of nine, she passed out from hunger. The mother had been a cook in the living world, but hadn't cooked for a hundred or so years. She quickly gathered what she could and prepared a meal for the daughter. When Mibae awoke to food she also noticed a man in a black kimono sitting at the table. The man was nice, but Mibae still avoided eye contact. He was apparently a part of the family she had gathered before running off to the soul society. He came home on vacation as soon as he had heard about how his new sister had developed powers.

Mibae spent a week alone with this man, training with him to use her powers in the form of 'kidou'. This form of magic was interesting to her, and she really liked it. She began to get closer to the shinigami, and by the seventh day almost made eye contact with him. However, her fear of men was overpowering and he would leave without so much as a good bye from her. She would spend the rest of her days in district 15 training herself and eating what she could. At the visual age of thirteen she would join the shinigami academy. Reikon jumped in as an advanced student, and even skipped second year. She would enter the Soul Society in the 13th division.

After only one hundred or so years she became a lieutenant, and was trained by her captain. The captain was the first man that she had accepted in her life, and was the only one she had been able to comfortably be around. He taught her to release her shikai, to perfect her kidou, and even to activate her Bankai. A great teacher and a great captain, he became a role model to Mibae. Mibae led her division in many a hollow-purging mission, even though that was technically not the duty of her squad. She convinced the captains that it was good for the division, building teamwork and trust. She built a five-woman group of shinigami out of the top five seats, all woman that she could trust as well as ones that her taichou could trust. She wouldn't find out what happened to them later on in life, as she would become a captain.

Her Taichou felt it was time for her to grow further than she could as his vice, so he put in a good word for her with the other captains. As the sixth captain had recently died of an illness, she was examined and later brought into the sixth division as their new captain. The first thing she would do is kick out her lazy lieutenant and replace him with someone more fitting. Her vice was a woman who looked only a bit younger than herself, but in reality was much younger by age. One day, during combat with a menos level hollow, Mibae's zanpakuto would not activate. Because of this, she nearly died that day. She had survived and destroyed the hollow, but it had completely wiped her out. She would awake wrapped in bandages around her torso in the 4th division headquarters. Mibae would then retire from her rank, taking several hundred years in the mountains far from the soul society to talk with her blade and make sure that that never happened again. When she returned she entered the soul society once again she would be a retired shinigami who joined the Court of Pure Souls. For a thousand years she lived with the stingy old people who somehow had aged way beyond what she could.

After only a hundred or so years in the court, Mibae grew bored. She had changed immensely from the frail and sensitive woman she had once been. Running an entire society with a group of brass old souls had toughened her back up. She petitioned to rejoin the 13 Court Guard Squads in the 2nd division. She had been secretly sneaking out of the fortress they kept her in every other night to train with the 2nd Division Captain and felt that her new skills would work out best in the division. Shortly after joining the Division she overpowered the Captain, taking his place as a Captain.

Zanpakutō Information

Shikai: Kyaku: Shoukyaku is not a stealthy weapon by any stretch of the imagination. So, Mibae hides its true form through the use of a punishing nickname. Angered by the nickname, Shoukyaku refuses to fully wake up. Instead of taking its actual form, Shoukyaku becomes a pair of large daggers, the blades looking much like smaller versions of the blades on her true shikai form.

The true form of Shoukyaku. When this is released, her blade will completely disappear. Suddenly, from her waist, two massive blades will extend on thin metal poles that have several different joints. These blades are about half her height each, and about two feet wide. The blades are controlled through wind reiatsu.

Shikai Ability:
Kyaku: This form will cover her body in a thin layer of wind reiatsu. This layer will protect her from any kidou level 20 and below, as well as masking any noise she makes by making contact with the ground or her surroundings. She can also spike her reiatsu to use the wind to increase her strength and speed in short bursts. If she does this it only lasts for two posts, and she is left without a wind layer until her regenerates in four posts.

Shoukyaku: In the true form, the wind reiatsu is actually used to control her massive blade weapons. However, she can also use the wind reaitsu that she creates to attack her opponent, striking them with condensed wind reaitsu like blunt objects. These attacks are only visible through the slight ripple in the air that they form as they speed toward her opponent.

~Hissori ken abunai Shoukyaku~

Bankai: In bankai mode the two massive blades will disappear. Suddenly, She will sprout fur all over her body and her clothes will tear off, leaving her completely naked except for the thick fur that covers her body. She grows ears, her pelt taking the pattern of a leopard.

Bankai Ability: The first ability of her bankai is that she has retractable, six inch long, tanto blades for claws on all four paws. But this is just a minor ability. The main ability of the zanpakuto is that the property of the air changes, and is no longer able to carry sound waves. Because of this, no sound within 80 meters exists, the opponent is forced to fight in a world without sound.

Techniques

Name: Kegawa - Pelt
Effect: These technique thickens the layer of wind reiatsu around her, protecting her from any kidou-based attack equivalent to kidou number 40 and below. The true-form rendition of this involves forming a small barrier around her, though essentially providing the same effect.

Name: Tsume - Claw
Effect: This technique can only be used in the half-released form. She will gather her entire shell of wind into her legs, releasing it in a short burst of speed. Using this speed, she will double her shunpo speed, moving past her opponent and attempting to slash their throats open.

Name: Shikon - Fang
Effect: This technique uses wind reaitsu to form a new weapon, which she can use to fight along with any other weapon the current level of release has provided her with.

Name: Manako - Eye
Effect: This technique releases a burst of wind reiatsu which will stay static in a 5 meter radius around Mibae for the duration of the technique. Anyone who comes within 5 meters of her will disturb the wind, instantly alerting her of their position.

Kegawa is the only thing I'm iffy about rest seems okay.

Its a one-post shield that is rather weak if you think about it.

Added the charge count I left out. They have a post of warning before the attack, and even then if they move at shunpo speed they would have a chance to block.

well its good but I'm not entirely sure the mechanics of the bankai are correct. Its more of an arracars release than a shinigami's bankai. If it were me I would have the bankai be a giant cyborg jaguar or something like that with a spot for you to ride and control it, that way its a more appropriate bleach bankai.

The bankai is similar to an arrancar's release, yet not quite. Its taking her closer to her zanpakuto spirit, as opposed to the form she took as a hollow.
